Frequently Asked Questions
How many samples can expect during the tour?
Typically, you will receive approximately 3 samples per each stop during the tour. You are not obligated to drink each sample provided. IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU ARRANGE TRANSPORTATION OR DESIGNATE A SOBER DRIVER BACK TO YOUR HOME OR HOTEL AT THE END OF THE TOUR.

How long do the tours take?
The tours last approximately 3 hours.
Can we bring/consume food or alcohol on the bus?
You may bring/consume food and alcohol on the bus. Please just do us a solid and try keeping any messes to a minimum.
Where do your tours start/end?
Our brewery tours start and end at Made in KC – 325 E 31st St, Kansas City, MO 64108 in Martini Corner. Martini Corner has multiple bars and restaurants with parking lots as well as street parking. We highly recommend eating prior to your tour.
What is your cancellation policy?
We offer flexi-bookings you may change your tour or the date at no extra cost, anytime up until 7 days before your tour begins. Barley Bus reserves the right to cancel any public event due to severe weather or if the tour does not reach the minimum required guests. If any public event needs to be canceled, all current ticket holders will be notified via email in advance of the scheduled tour with the option of rescheduling, credit, or full refund.
Do all guests have to be 21+ years old?
Yes, all guests
must be 21 years or older. ID’s will be checked upon boarding the bus and may be checked again by other establishments.
Do you offer a discount for guests not interested in drinking alcohol?
Yes, for public tours. Please contact us for a designated driver discounted ticket.
Can I book a large group/private tour?
Absolutely… whether your group is 2 or 200, we have the tour for you. Give us a call at 816.323.3889 or email us Info@BarleyBus.com to arrange a private tour.
What is the appropriate amount to tip our tour guide?
According to tipping.org, tour guides are typically given a gratuity of 10-20% of the price of the tour, but any amount is greatly appreciated.
